MEET THE DOCTORS
Dr. Gunnsteinn Steinarsson
Chiropractor
Dr. Gunnsteinn Steinarsson is one of very few Gonstead Chiropractors serving the people of Jupiter, FL and surrounding areas. Born and raised in Iceland he moved to the US in 2007 to become a Chiropractor.
After his graduation in 2011, he moved back to his home country of Iceland to start his practice, which he ran successfully for 3 years before moving back to the US in 2014.
Dr Steinarsson graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the prestigious Palmer Collage of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. It is the oldest, most renowned Chiropractic collage in the world and the fountainhead of Chiropractic were it all began in 1895. While there, Dr. Steinarsson specialized in the methodology of Dr. C.S. Gonstead DC and studied extensively and interned with the top Doctors of Chiropractic and Professors at Palmer Collage. The Gonstead system is widely considered being the Gold Standard of Chiropractic care due to it’s highly analytical and specific approach in identifying the root cause of the problem, restoring it to it’s natural state. Gonstead Chiropractic proves to be very effective of treating all sorts of bodily ailments. Such as back pain, neck pain, migraines and headaches to arm and sciatic pain. Gonstead Chiropractic can even help with internal disorders that can be related to nerve pressure.
Dr Steinarsson takes a “whole person” approach in his Chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying cause of dis-ease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to treating just the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, that can create nerve pressure, and Dr. Steinarsson will be able to determine the root of the pain and create personalized Chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient’s individual needs. Under the supervision and care of our caring and skilled chiropractor, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.
Dr Steinarsson has vast experience working with a wide variety of patients, from infants, children and elderly to professional athletes and bodybuilders. This extensive experience enables him to approach his patients from many different angles, coming up with the perfect individualized treatment plans for maximum results.
Dr Steinarsson is married to Chelsey Steinarsson RD, LD and they have two children, Magni Storm and Saga Rae. In his free time, he is an avid fitness enthusiast and very passionate about nutrition and living a healthy, Chiropractic lifestyle and spending time with his family.

Dr. Chris Cucullu
Chiropractor
Dr. Chris Cucullu is an experienced Gonstead Chiropractor and we are happy to have him now join us at Nordik Chiropractic.
Dr. Chris was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude (Palmer College of Chiropractic is the same college that Dr. Gunnsteinn and Dr. Andri graduated from).
Dr. Chris first decided he wanted to become a chiropractor after he himself suffered from debilitating neck pain when he was in high school during hockey season.
As a competitive hockey player, for years he battled constant strain and demand the game had on his body. In pain he first visited a traditional medical doctor to no avail. Then he went to see a doctor of chiropractic where he experienced relief and correction of the underlying cause.
At that time he noticed a stark difference between the two distinct healing arts that left a lasting impression. The other patients at the chiropractor’s office were actually happy to be there and seemed to be expressing more health! Then after meeting the chiropractor, receiving his first spinal adjustment and feeling relief, Chris decided he too wanted to become a chiropractor and help others.
Later while attending the Palmer College of Chiropractic and learning about the more common chiropractic techniques, Chris decided he wanted to serve people through specific chiropractic. Meaning a thorough method that localizes the precise shift in the spinal column obstructing the involved spinal nerve (vertebral subluxation) and the normal healing process; then provides a more targeted adjustment to address a specific issue resulting from the subluxation. For this reason, even though he knew it would require a lot of additional work and training, Dr. Chris chose the Gonstead Method – which is widely regarded as the gold standard in chiropractic care.
Dr. Chris first began his training as a Troxell Intern, which involves extensive training and required proficiency in the Gonstead system of analysis. He has since interned for some of the most respected Gonstead Chiropractors in the world and has been in active practice.
Early on Dr. Chris also knew he wanted to help children, pregnant mothers and families because he saw first hand the stark difference in health for those who waited until crises mode and those receiving regular spinal checkups. As such, he has sought out additional training and certification, including the Webster Technique in caring for pregnant mothers, as well as training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) for newborns, infants and children.
His passion for pediatrics is fueled by the fact that children are sicker than ever (over 50% of children now suffer from at least one chronic condition) and he has seen first-hand how specific chiropractic care can bring about a return to health for so many needlessly suffering children.
Dr. Chris is passionate about helping his patients “express their true health potential as nature intended“.
His other memberships, training and awards include:
-
Member of the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers
-
Awarded the Virgil Strang Chiropractic Philosophy Award
-
Member of the Delta Sigma Chi Fraternity of Chiropractic
-
>250 hours of additional training in NeuroStructural Corrective Care
Dr. Chris grew up playing competitive hockey and still enjoys playing recreationally whenever he gets the chance. He also enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with friends and family.

I hurt my back lifting too much. I thought I could stretch it out and fix it myself. After 6 weeks of pain, I went in to see what they might say. Dr. A did an initial interview and a set of X-rays. I was shocked to see how my spine was so out of whack in the X-ray. No amount of stretching would ever fix that. I have been seeing Dr. A ever since. My mobility is back and I am thrilled. I feel so much better. Ben and Casey in the office have been so welcoming every appointment. Everyone is really nice. I HIGHLY recommend!

Andri is the best chiropractor I have ever had. He has changed my life by adjusting my spine, I am beyond thankful to him. The professionalism at this business is unmatched. I would highly recommend this to any one looking for a Chiropractor. I came in for lower back pain, I have been to many doctors looking for results for the past 7 years, within 6 weeks I no longer have lower back pain thanks to the adjustments I received. I sleep much better now and am able to go jogging.
